Week 28. | 15. Faces In Everyday Places (Pareidolia)

As I mentioned last week, I have been taking pictures of gates for months in the hope of finding something interesting. On my recent trip to Scotland, there were many. I wandered around the area of Leith near the docks. There is a lot of maritime history here that dates back to the 1500’s, but is still a working port today with both cargo and cruise ships sailing up the Firth of Forth. We came upon these gates and I took some pictures as an idea for the “gates” theme, but when I got it up on the computer, not only could I see a pattern of a face in the gates with the two shields, the center pattern with its toothy mouth below, but also within each shield is a grinning face. Do you see it?
